Pokemon GO Upgrade Items and Components
An upgrade item is a special item that makes certain Pokemon develop. The upgrade can be made by spinning a PokeStop photo disc. It's sometimes given as a prize at Pokemon GO events.
Upgrades can be applied to armors, weapons trinkets, weapons, as well as gathering tools to raise their item level. The upgrade costs Flightstones and crests, dependent on the type of item.
Upgrade components
Upgrade components can be inserted into armor, weapons trinkets and gathering tools to provide attribute bonuses or additional effects when the equipment is utilized. Upgrade components can only be used on equipment that has an upgrade slot available. Most upgrade components also require that the item being upgraded is at a certain level. Certain upgrade items come with special effects that are visible when they are used. Upgrade components can be obtained by crafting, purchased by Karma merchants or exchanged with other players through the Trading Post. They can also be salvaged from equipment and redeemed as rewards.
There are a variety of upgrade components available, each providing an individual bonus. Universal upgrades, which include gems and inscriptions, can be used with any kind of equipment. They also offer less bonuses than other types of upgrade components. Infusions are able to be used on non-amulet or legendary ascended items, and enrichments can be used on some ascended back equipment. The majority of upgrade components can be replaced when they are inserted into an item, but doing so will destroy the previous upgrade. The only exceptions are glyphs, that can only be placed in gathering tools, as well as enchantments. Both can be removed and then reinserted.
Insignias, enchantments, and prefix/suffix upgrades will appear in the hover display of the item and they will be added to the equipment's name (e.g. a Radiant Insignia would change the name to Radiant Tyrian Armor). The number of upgrades that are added to an item will be displayed in the tooltip for the item.

Glyphs
Glyphs can be used to add functional and decorative elements to an OpenType font. They include ligatures, fractions, or ornaments, as well as registered trademark symbols, ellipses, swashes and swashes. The Glyphs panel lets you see and insert these particular characters, as well as standard glyphs such as em dashes and en dieshes, registered trademark symbols and characters that are not found in other fonts (such as dingbats).
Each Glyph provides a character with a boost in primary stats. It also includes up to four Secondary Stats that affect the glyph's radius on your Paragon Board. Secondary Stats are a percentage increase that is multiplied by other bonuses, with the exception of Speed Glyphs that directly increase the speed of the hero.
The Glyphs in your inventory can be activated by selecting them, and then clicking the "enchant" button. This will open a new window showing the Glyphs you own that can be applied to the selected item. You can only apply the appropriate Glyph to the item you are looking for. Each weapon or jewelry piece has its own collection of Glyphs.
Glyphs can be improved by completing Nightmare Dungeons or completing Tree of Whisper quests. The more difficult the area is, the more Glyph experience you will gain. Once a Glyph has reached the level 15 it is able to be upgraded using the Glyph Upgrade Altar. The radius of the Paragon Board grows by one node for every 15 levels that a Glyph is upgraded.
Once a glyph has been elevated to the desired level you can activate it by selecting it, then clicking the "enchant" button. The resulting Glyph will give its stated benefit, and boost other nodes within its radius on the Paragon Board. It's important to place Glyphs where they can best benefit your build, and that is why it's recommended to prioritize Magic Glyphs early on. The glyphs that are rare could offer double bonuses if certain conditions are met which is why they're worth checking out for too.
If you're having trouble finding a particular glyph, click the cycle widget on the Glyphs panel to display the panel in a variety of different views. Each view shows the Glyphs using a different font. You can reduce the number of glyphs by choosing an option below "Entire Font". For example, punctuation is only displayed in punctuation glyphs. Math Symbols restricts the options to mathematical symbols.
Rerolling
Rerolling is the process by which you create a new account to give yourself more chances to access a character or weapon that you are interested in. This can be done to assist you in gaining more experience or to gain better loot, such as an improved weapon for your current character. Many players will reroll until they have the characters they like regardless of their strength. This could be due to the fact that they like the design or personality.
When you reroll, you have be sure that the changes you're making are clean. You should test locally whether the patch is approved by the pre-commit test and run a core dev test. You should upload the patch with a clear distinction to an issue (see What is an interdiff?) ).
Rerolls can take days or weeks to complete, based on your luck. To cut down on time be sure to avoid enemy camps that are not required during this time. Additionally you should not re-do any quests that are completed later in the game. This can save time and energy.
Another crucial aspect to remember when rerolling is to be sure you are aware of the upgrade system. There are a variety of ways to improve your character's power and appearance. This includes upgrading your weapons, rerolling your characters and buying upgrades. It is also crucial to know the limitations of the system.
Rerolling might not be necessary however it can be an option to increase your chances of obtaining an item or character. You can use it to determine the best character or to play around with different playstyles and builds.
Sets
A set is an object collection having two common attributes (like the number of eggs in a dozen, or the members of a group). Sets are used for operations like union, intersection and difference.
When you upgrade a set item, it is a different version of itself that is superior to the previous version. item upgrade means that armor and weapons will have a greater defense and lower requirements for strength.
Upgrades are a great way to bring popular single-set items up to level with their higher-tiered set counterparts. Upgrades such as Guillaume's Face Helm to an Elite Spired helmet will increase the defense from 217 up to 321 and lower the strength requirements and level requirements to a more feasible range.
However it's important to remember that not all set items are good candidates for upgradation. Some sets, like the FB Sorc Whistan's shield and Naj's puzzler staff are already exceptional in their own way and don't need upgrading. Certain items, like Goldwrap and Whistan's Shield (both BiS) that are frequently used may benefit from an upgrade to improve their value. It could be worthwhile to upgrade these items.
